Yalta Optimization Conference-2008: "Discrete and Global Optimization" took place on July 31 - August 2, 2008. It was organized by Sergiy Butenko, Panos Pardalos, Ivan Sergienko and Volodymyr Shylo in honor of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
